When you think of surfing the last place most people think of is Cleveland, OH. However that is not the case. This blog is dedicated to the Cleveland surf culture. I am not a surfer but I do enjoy watching people surf. I am also no expert. If you have comments or pictures that you would like added to the blog please contact me. I will try to update as often as possible depending on the weather. I spent two days at Edgewater Park taking pictures and filming, surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers. Waves on the lake for those two days measured between, 4 to 8 feet. Further out in the lake waves were as high as 15 feet. The air temperature on both days hovered around 35 to 40 degrees. The water temperature was not much higher than that. At time there was sleet and hail coming down. Gale force winds were at 35 mph. Surfing Lake Erie is not for the weak at heart. I have included pictures and video of the two days I was there.
